A sustainable reimagining of MH's ultralight, packable down jacket, this one features compressible Q-shield down inside a completely recycled ripstop shell. A DWR finish helps shed water and synthetic insulation in the first baffle on the sleeves helps prevent the cuffs from wetting out.

Poor fit
A year ago reviews noted the tight armpits on this jacket and obviously Mountain Hardware has NOT listened to its customers as they are still too tight! And I am a small, slight person. There were also several feathers coming out which again is a long-standing issue. I am a jacket enthusiast who owns way too many and honestly this one's not worth the price. Very disappointed.

Light and packable, but so warm
This jacket is a favorite. I also have one without a hood and have loved it for years. It is still like new. This is an excellent addition to have. It is light and compact. Love it for travel, it is perfect to pack, especially when you are unsure of the weather. Size is as expected.

A nice puffer
The sizing is a bit on the slender size, so order accordingly. Material is very light, and passing thorns or catching a low-hanging limb will snag the outer material and pick it or puncture it. This is replacing a GW1 that I've had for a while that has lost stuffing from two punctures on the upper arm and a 1/2" cut on the back shoulder. The weave is very fine, so it will shed some glancing scrapes, but anything sharp and small will do damage.

Old classic retains its quality!
I love this coat. My last ghost whisperer (10+ years old) finally started to look to ratty and had too many holes, so I crossed my fingers and hoped it was as good as the old version. It is! My only complaint is that the old version had a small stuff sack and interior pockets, but those aren’t dealbreaker features.

Best jacket ever! Bought one over a decade ago and am still wearing it. Zipper wore out eventually but MH replaced it for free. Just grabbed a second one because it was at a great sale price. Easily stuffs into my purse. Fits under raincoat for warmth with water proof protection. Never want to be without one.

Warm light jacket
True size. Bought for Christmas gift. Wife has both hooded and non hooded versions. Very light and great daily jacket in Utah winter. Have had success with this brand for down coats and jackets.
