Fisherman Sandal (Women)

These are beautiful leather sandals that are well-worth the price. They've been crafted well, the leather feels like good quality, and they are comfortable off the bat without having to break them in. The design is also timeless and has a chic silhouette. My only complaint is that the soles are so slippery and have zero grip whatsoever to the point that I almost slipped on my carpet. I don't understand why grip isn't added, but will have to cut up the soles myself in order to wear these at all.

These are great-very comfortable and don’t require any breaking them in. As others have mentioned, the sole is slippery, but if you go onto cement and scrape them a few times, they are good to go. One thing I will say is they run LARGE. I am usually a 9.5 in a closed shoe and a 9 in an open sandal and I took a 8.5 in this shoe.

This G.H. Bass fisherman sandal is pretty perfect! I'm generally a size 10, and the size 10 fits me perfectly. The leather is soft and the sole has a decent amount of cushioning, but there isn't really any arch support. They feel like they'll be comfy right out of the box, but I'm not sure if this is a walking around all day sandal if you need real support. The sole is slightly stiff, but not too bad. That's probably the only bit that may need breaking in. I always think it's odd when reviews mention new shoes being slick on the bottom, as that's just expected from so many styles like this. However, the slickness of these shoes is noteworthy! Like, slickest shoes I've ever put on! That can be fixed easily, so not a deal breaker, but now I get it. I haven’t decided if I'm keeping or not, but they look great!
