Disappointed long time fan...
Very disappointed in the new production of the jackets. Material is significantly different (thinner) than previous jackets. Production quality feels really cheap. I tried several price points to see if a more expensive version would be similar to one of the several i have purchased over the years, no luck.

Pleased but not blown away
I bought this hoodie as a middle ground for a beta lt for hikes, backpacking, scrambling, and climbing. I like how the jacket fits and the storm hood is great. The only thing that I would want improved is the abrasion resistance. I have worn this jacket for close to 45hrs of hiking/climbing, and there is one part I may have rubbed on a rock and it is pretty scratched up. Other than that it is very durable and breathable. I would recommend if in your budget.

Hello there, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Gamma Hoody. It’s great to hear that the fit and StormHood are working well for your hikes and climbs, and we appreciate you highlighting how it’s performed for you overall. We understand that abrasion resistance is especially important for scrambling and climbing, and while the Fortius™ fabric is designed for durability, contact with rock can still leave visible marks over time. Your feedback is incredibly valuable to our design teams as we continue to refine our products. We also loved seeing the photos of your climbing, it’s always inspiring to see our gear out in the mountains!

Bisher passt der Hoody zu 100%. Die Grössenangabe war einwandfrei anhand der Vergleichsoerdon.
Die Jacke ist leicht, die Taschen sind am richtigen Fleck.

I loved the Fit
I love the fit, I'm a big guy and XXL is a good fit for me, I think the quality feels good, I'm not sure about the waterproof but for sure looks good.

Hoddy
Just a solid jacket. The lighter weight material in the sleeve is perfect for layering under as needed.
