Water Resistant Packable Jacket

Pretty sure this is my favorite rain jacket ever! I got the red so my husband could spot me easily when out & about traveling or just in grey weather. The weight is warm without being bulky. wonderful hang, nice backside cover, great pockets & good hood. Dual zipper front. Unexpectedly slimming when inner zip closed & outer jacket cinched at waist with the pulls ~ made plump me look curvy cute! Love that :)

The video showed pockets inside but they are bottomless! The pockets on the front need zippers. The only secure spot would be on the back shoulder, where you fold the coat to pack. I really was excited about the inside pockets so I didn’t need a purse. The girl on the video needed to put her hand down further to show it is not an interior pocket.

This jacket is just what I was looking for. It’s long enough in front and just and dips a bit in the back for coverage when seated. It’s lightweight but wind and rain resistant. I wear a size 12 dress or coat and the large is perfect with a little room to layer if I want. The waist cincher is adjustable. There’s a hood. It is lined with a silky material to it won’t ride up. The sleeves are not so long that I have to roll them up. I’m very pleased! I purchased the black.

This jacket is very nice and the style is flattering. I love the stow away hood which is a rare find these days. All of the features listed are present except for the most important one, it's supposed to keep you dry in the rain, right? It's a RAIN JACKET. So why is it not waterproof? And don't even get me started on the price for a non waterproof jacket lol Not sure who needs to spend this much on a jacket which has a rain jacket look to it however does not actually protect you in the rain. I'm so glad I tested it buy splashing some water from my sink onto it before taking it on a trip. The water drops looks like they will roll off the fabric. I did this test on a random spot not paying attention where on the jacket I was testing (I held it in my hands when testing), then when I went to put it on afterwards, I immediately knew which area I just tested. My shoulder felt damp through my thin thermal sweater I was wearing so no, I would not recommend this if you need it for an actual rain protection. I'm not sure why it has so many good reviews. Maybe nobody tried to use it in the rain when leaving their review.
