Hudson Lug Work Boot (Men)

This is the best looking boot that I've been able to find out there. Unfortunately, it's too small for me. The size 13 is like a vise grip on my foot and there's no chance that I can break them in. My previous size 13 Frye boots from years ago are perfect. I guess I'll have to try other brands that have larger sizes.

I was a Frye loyalist for about 20 years. I own(ed) many styles over the years from loggers, engineers, and harness boots. I loved Frye’s rugged but smooth style ,matched with their high quality craftsmanship. However, over the past few years, some things changed with their men’s boot styles. They became a little too polished, too slick, too dressy. Nothing appealed to my taste. So, was thrilled to spot the Hudson Workboot Lug in an advertisement and ordered them immediately! In person, they’re even better than I expected! The caramel leather has a terrific look, feel, and quality. The leather contrast perfectly with the tan in the heel and outsole. Another plus are the lace hooks at the top of the boot instead of eyelets. They make them mush easier to lace up. The straps at the back of the boots are a big help for pulling them up. It’s an easy process to get in and out of these boots! The boots feel true to size and should break in easily. A lot more comfortable than my Red Wings. If you’re looking for a quality, stylish, work style boot, I highly recommend!
