entirely sheer
Colors were more muted than the photo. I’m between a 2 and 4 but know FP runs large so XS was my correct size. I expected the dress to be low cut but there’s no way to wear the dress as-is. Additionally, the dress is entirely sheer. It has no lining.

My absolute favorite Free People Dress
This dress is incredible. I loved it so much I bought it in both colors. It flows so nicely, it’s comfortable but stylish. The details really add a lot to its interest and I feel so confident wearing it. I’ve already received some compliments on both - I love the versatility with the yellow leading into fall months and the blue for winter! My absolute favorite Free People dress, worth every penny.

It is so big!
I am sometimes a medium and sometimes a large, never a small, but after reading the reviews I got a size small. Even a xxS would be too large.

Perfect four season dress!
This is true to size...meaning it was designed to be oversized, and is. Watch the video above to get a sense of proportion. I typically take a small or XS in FP, and this is no exception. I went back and forth about whether i'd prefer a size down or not...but went with my gut. I think in my true size (Small), the dress looks wispy, billowy, and perfectly boho. I fear in a size smaller, it would start to look oversized in an unintentional way, and I think this will serve me better. In the winter, I'll style it with tall boots and tights, a chunky cardi, and a statement earring. In the summer, it will be dreamy on hot days with sandals. The neck is a DEEP vee, so if modesty is a concern, this probably isn't for you. If you don't like oversized fits, I don't even think sizing down two sizes would keep it from being VERY oversized. So maybe pass on this. For me, it is the perfect four season dress that I'll cherish forever. Also--I'm 5'9". I could see shorter folks drowning in this, so know that going in, too. Hope this helps!

A miss for me
Wanted to like it, and the colors were so on point for a fall dress, but the pattern skewed too much to Thanksgiving tablecloth. I was expecting a big flowy fit, but this was just a miss for me. I tried layering it to offset the print, and belting it to give it more shape, but decided it was a no go for me. With the strong fall colors and light weight, I think I would have only worn it in Oct/Nov.
