I LOVE wearing sweatshirts and well this jacket is a huge step up from that...the sleves are sweatshirt material while the rest looks like tweed:) This jacket is so very cute and comfortable I just had to buy it!

This was poor fitting and looked cheap - kind of like a thrift store find but with a much higher price tag.

Bad quality
I was excited to get this jacket, based on the positive reviews. But the second I took it out of the box I knew I was disappointed. The sleeves are unfinished at the wrists and were already unraveling. Plus, the sleeves were tight around my arms, which would prevent me from wearing this jacket over other long sleeves.
The tweed part of the jacket was loosely woven and just didn't seem like it would stand the test of time.
Though I really appreciate the inspiration behind this jacket, the quality was not worth the price. I will sadly return it and keep looking for a tailored, edgy cotton jacket that can be casual or somewhat dressed-up.

Cute Free People jacket
When I first saw the Free People jacket online it wasn't available in my size. For some reason, I checked several weeks later and there was my size--and on sale! The jacket is a very soft wool material, bohemian in style and looks great with jeans or a cute dress. One thing that I couldn't see in the photo: the sleeves are a contrasting color of pale gray and the body is cream. Subtle but different and I didn't notice it in the photograph.

Lovely but only one complaint
After reading the review, I purchase the jacket. Love how it looks, fits, and feel; however, only one complaint! The sleeves is unfinished so I feel like overtime the thread my come apart even though the sales rep said that's the edgy look. Not sure if I like that or what will happen after a few washes. Anyone experience the sleeve coming apart?
