It directs Sonic Pulse Technology to break-up and remove plaque, preventing tartar build-up and cavities as well as stains, to brighten and whiten teeth. How to use: Choose your toothpaste and press the center button to turn on the ISSA. An LED light will flash. Press + or - to select your preferred intensity. Every 30 seconds the pulsations will pause so you'll know it's time to move to the next quadrant of your mouth. Make wide, circular movements over the outer and inner surfaces of the teeth and gums. On biting and chewing surfaces, brush backwards and forwards horizontally. After two minutes, the pulsations will pause three times and the LED light will flash, signaling the end of the recommended brushing routine.
