Fields Waterproof Chelsea Boot (Women)

Purchased these in November and by January the sole had come off from the bottom of the boot. I reached out to Chacos and they responded quickly with a discount code for a new pair, I have yet to use it but I am glad they rectified the situation quickly. The boots, however, are definitely more uncomfortable than not. While they are extremely waterproof & even stain proof (I bought the white ones), they are absolutely freezing. The leather allows for zero insulation and there is nothing inside the boot to keep your feet warm. They're also extremely narrow, with only an M option for width, but somehow the heel is roomy enough to allow the boot to slip over your heel creating blisters no matter how often you wear them. Because of the narrowness and the constant rubbing on the heel it's also impossible to wear thick wool socks for warmth. Overall, I would not purchase these again unless there was a wider or warmer option. But if you have super narrow feet that run warm, they might be perfect for you!

I have now had the same pair of these boots for 6+ years and am only now starting to consider replacing them. They are extremely durable, comfortable and cute too! I initially bought them to study abroad in the very rainy climate of Ireland and they quickly became a staple of every outfit. Can’t even count how many miles I’ve put into these boots and they have been extremely comfortable the whole way. I polish/wax them once or twice a year to re-water proof them and that’s it!
