Long Sleeve Maxi Dress

I wore this dress on a girls trip to Puerto Rico. Absolutely gorgeous dress. Very low-cut in the front, but I was in Puerto Rico, who cares? Not sure if I would feel comfortable wearing to a like a wedding, but for vacation, absolutely. Very flattering and the colors are so vibrant. Pictures don't do this dress justice. I'm a big/curvy girl (size 16/18) with most of my weight on my hips, butt, and legs. Very flattering.

Beautiful print and silhouette! My measurements are ~34, 28, 39. I bought Farm Rio’s colorful banana mini dress in a small, which fit perfectly. I bought this maxi dress in both a small and x-small, and the x-small fit perfectly, so you may want to size down from your usual size. Deep V - I have a small chest, so it’s a no-cleavage look on me. Larger chests would likely show full cleavage. Deep V is too low for standard bra, so plan for no bra or sticky bra/petals.

Purchased this dress for a wedding, will sadly be returning because the dress is so low cut, it just wouldn’t be appropriate. I tried it with a cami under, but with the back of the dress being open, it just doesn’t have the right look. I’d totally wear this dress bra-free to like Vegas or something, but just not appropriate for the occasion I was purchasing for. My husband even said the fabric is beautiful.

This dress is lovely IF you have the right body type for it. (I held the back and shoulders together tighter at my neck to see what it would look like taken in, and it looked really flattering.) The dress would fit those with a longer torso best. You don't need to be slim for this dress to look nice on you, but it would fit better if your back doesn't flare into a wide V shape, or the top of the zipper might be too tight. I was very tempted to keep this and find a tailor to adjust for the fit issue, but that's just too much of an additional expense. I will try other styles of dresses from this brand that might better suit my build.

I'm the type to normally wear plain and simple colors with a modern look. But this dress' pattern caught my eye and I wanted to find more expression in living life with fun and in color by adding this to the wardrobe! This is a worthy purchase! Yes, it is a lot of fabric like one of the other reviews says, but it makes you feel like a queen. You can also wear a sports-bra underneath to cover the cleavage or wear out at night and SHOW the cleavage. :) I have gotten so many compliments on it and love it!
