Fair Isle Wool Gloves

I was delighted to find the gloves and at how quickly they got here as I'd been watching them go out of stock and then back in stock. They're beautifully designed, a longer flatknit wool (allowing for the fair isle design above the hand (as in pics !), and come in one size. My palm measures 8 1/4 so I found myself hopeful I'd find ones I liked and worked that came in numerical sizes, but expect that's less common for wool gloves. Anxiously trying them on I was bummed that the area with the fair isle design was tight when pushing my hand thru it - and the gloves fit snugly. If the gloves were thick, snuggly and flexible (when putting on, along with the design, I'd have been delighted... hard for me to justify the $88 price (I could get a pretty nice pair of cashmere lined leather gloves that fit better for this much, on sale now).
