What it is: A synthetic-bristle eyelid brush with a rounded, beveled head and short, densely packed bristles apply eyeshadow smoothly and evenly.
What it does: Ideal for use with pressed powder eyeshadow formulas, this brush allows for smooth application from the lash line to the crease and helps you blend as you go. Densely packed bristles sized to mimic fingertip application.
How to use: Dip eyeshadow brush into eyeshadow and gently tap off excess. Apply all over the lid, or use the angled edge to apply in the corners and the creases of the eye.
Pro tips: Use the flat side of the brush to pack on color and the fluffy part to blend and add smudged definition.

Bobbi Brush Wins over Chanel this time
I used Bobbi Brown products years ago (had the brushes with the wooden handles) and have collected brushes from quite a few lines, most recently Chanel. I wanted something a little different and purchased this brush to go with a Bobbi eye shadow because it wasn't going on with my Chanel brush deeply enough. Wow. I was surprised. The Bobbi brush picked up more product and seemed to lay it on a little differently. Definitely keeping it in my brush collection!

Doesn't pick up product
I may be alone in my review here but I really disliked this brush. The bristles didn't pick up any product and I found myself digging into the eye shadow pans and breaking up the powder just to get something on the bristles!! I love BB but this is literally the worst eye shadow brush I've ever used! I also purchased the eye sweep (quick & easy) & the smudge brush which I LOVE but this one...no way! Thankfully I was able to return the brush with no issues! Excellent return policy with BB!!!

Quality Can't Be Beat
I've owned this brush for YEARS! The quality of Bobbi's brushes just can't be beat. This is my absolutely favorite eye shadow brush. I take care of my brushes and clean them regularly. The wood, brush holds up. Unlike other brushes with wood handles that have become damaged from washing, this wood has stood the test of time. Cleaning it has caused absolutely NO separation from the wood handle and the piece that extends to the brush and the wood looks just like new. Honest, I have owned this for brush for 18 years and it still rocks. As for eye makeup application, it is excellent. It holds the shadow nicely for an even application of shadow. Worth every single penny.

Just what I needed!
Love this brush! It's perfect for the crease and outer V and does just what I needed. Other similar brushes that are intended for blending in the crease are often either too fluffy (not good for the outer v) or too small and pencil-like (which makes for too strong a line). This is just the right size and shape with just a little "fluff" to make blending easy. Beautifully constructed, too!

A little disappointed
While this brush works OK with Bobbi Brown eyeshdaows, it doesn't seem to pick up much pigment with other brands (Chanel, Tom Ford). I think I will stick with Chanel and MAC brushes.

bristles not soft
When looking for brushes, like anyone, I'm looking for them to be soft and high quality. As a shock, I thought Bobbi brown would be one of the best brushes I've bought, but truthfully it was one of my least favourite I've ever tried. The bristles are harsh and super compact. As some brushes should be compact, this was, but made the makeup application a little tougher. I was honestly just disappointed with the Bobbi brown brushes and unfortunately won't buy or try any more brushes from the company :(

Best brushes!
Bobbi Brown has the best brushes. They're soft and they don't shed. I used to own many MAC brushes but once I tried Bobbi I never went back! :)
