Everfull XL 36-Hour Extreme Volume & Lift Mascara

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I so badly wanted to like this, but the wand just didn’t do it for me. The bottle is so pretty and cute. I feel like they have a good formula just need a different wand. I feel like it’s a light weight formula and would go on better if they just changed the wand. Each time I tried this mascara the wand would make my lashes stick together and made they look so bad.

I’m just a regular woman figuring out what works and what doesn’t.I have naturally thick, long eyelashes, so mascara is kind of a tricky category for me. A lot of formulas either make my lashes look almost too heavy or they end up being harder to control than they’re worth. The Dolce & Gabbana Everfull Mascara definitely made a strong first impression with the packaging. The case is genuinely beautiful. It’s small enough to toss in a purse or night-out bag, and it has that luxe, gold detail that makes it feel more expensive than just “another mascara.” That part, I get the hype on. The product itself applies smoothly in terms of pigment and doesn’t smudge during application, which I appreciated. But the brush didn’t really separate my lashes the way I prefer. It tended to deposit a bit more product than I naturally need, so I had to go in with a lash comb afterward to clean things up. I ended up doing about three coats. The first coat looked a little clumpy and uneven at first, which made me pause, but once I combed through and built it up again, it settled into something much better. The final result looked fuller and defined, just not in a super natural “one swipe and done” way for me. The biggest win for this mascara is wear time. It held up really well throughout the day with no noticeable smudging or under-eye transfer, even in warm, humid conditions where a lot of mascaras usually give up on me. I didn’t get that tired, smeared look by the end of the day, which is a real point in its favor. Overall, I wouldn’t call it my absolute favorite mascara ever, but it’s solid. Reliable once you work with it a bit, especially if you don’t mind adjusting with a lash comb. I’d rate it a 7 out of 10. Good product, beautiful packaging, decent performance, just not quite a perfect fit for my lashes without a little extra effort.

The total black is a true dark black and stays on well throughout the day. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear, even with eyeglasses.
