What it is: A dual-action cleanser that purifies skin for a look that's fresh, clean and radiant.

What it does: It's formulated with a precision crafted super-pomegranate complex, now crafted with 2x pomegranate concentrate. It can be used in two ways. Morning and night, it works as a gentle foaming cleanser. At night, once a week or as needed, let it go to work for two minutes as a deep purifying mask. The Nutritious Super-Pomegranate collection features products infused with the essence of Mediterranean pomegranate, harvested from the pristine Mediterranean basin. These pomegranates are transformed through an eight-step whole fruit cold-solvent extraction process to preserve their power and potency. The masterfully crafted complex is infused with the pure essence of these Mediterranean pomegranates, along with a patented Super-Berry ferment, essential vitamins and minerals.
How to use: If using as a foaming cleanser, apply morning and night by massaging over wet skin, then rinse. If using as a deep purifying mask at least once a week, massage over dry skin and let it work for two minutes. Rinse.

I have previously used the old version of the Estee Lauder Nutritious cleanser, which I believe has been discontinued. I purchased this product on sale. I really love this cleanser. I will say, I am not a chemist or dermatologist or anything like that, so I am not sure how "clean" of a formula this is. It contains sulfates and is a foaming cleanser. If this is not your cup of tea, this is really not the cleanser for you. If you want an efficient cleanser, however, this is it. I cannot emphasize enough just how LITTLE of this product you need to use in order to effectively clean your skin.
A couple things - I have combination and often acneic skin, but my skin is not sensitive. I can handle many acids (lactic, glycolic, use retinoids on a regular basis) I use it with and without my clarisonic mia and I cannot seem to use too little of this product, that's how much it foams. When I use this, it is the second step of my routine. First, I do an oil cleanse to remove any makeup and SPF, wash that off, and then go in with this. Like I said, it foams like crazy, and I feel that it really cleanses the skin. When I wash it off, I do not feel any residue or anything. I feel that this might be a little too drying for someone with dry skin, but if you have normal, combination, or oily skin, this will likely work out just fine. I follow up with my serums, moisturizers, etc. I have not experienced any irritation, or most importantly - breakouts from this. I will say, I wish that the packaging was more earth-friendly and recyclable, but that is something I want across the board.
Overall, I really like this product. I do think it is pretty basic in terms of formula so you might be able to snag a similar formula for cheaper, but something about this one makes me super happy.

perfect for oily, sensitive skin
I got this as a gift once and I felt in love with it and had to buy some extras to keep at home, after 2 weeks of using it I started seeing less blemishes and has helped with my skin discoloration as well. I loooove this

Cleanse well and not dry out the skin
I initially tried this product through a sample. It has subtle fragrance and does a very good job with cleansing yet not drying up my skin.

Prefer non-foaming cleansers.
After ordering this item but before receiving it, I decided that I prefer cleansers that don’t foam. So returned it without opening. My fault for ordering it, Nordstrom. Sorry.
