Embroidered V-Neck Midi Dress

I tried this on this beautiful dress at Nordstrom and could not raise the zipper past the bodice, even when I was not in the dress. I figured it was a faulty zipper, so I ordered the same size to be delivered. I'm very disappointed to receive the same dress with the same issue. This time, I had my big, strong husband here to pull at the zipper, and he couldn't get it to move either. I'd order another, but I'm not a glutton for punishment. I love this dress, sans zipper, so much that I'm going to take it to my Nordstrom across the street and see if alterations can do anything to that stupid zipper. Not too hopeful.
