I purchased a size up and I’m glad I did. I’m usually a 16. When I 1st tried on I thought the 18 was to small but I realized that this is a fitted dress. It’s not super stretchy the ribbed material is a little stiff, but will hold its shape. I purchased in the brown. FYI the slits on the sides aren’t to high. You can wear shapewear and they won’t show.
