Column Gown

I'm loving how slim I look in this dress! It's also very comfortable and I can wear a beige bra with straps that are not noticeable at all through the lace on the left shoulder. I am returning it however, for a smaller size. It runs about a size too big. Definitely a keeper though, I will keep trying until I get the right size.

I ordered this dress in navy and in black. When they arrived at my house, it was nearly impossible to tell them apart. The navy is much darker than shown on the website. The dress runs true to size and I love the asymmetrical lace in the bodice. However, the fabric clings to your every curve, so if you have any you are hoping to disguise with the dress, this is the wrong dress for you. I am a size 10, 60-year old, and the dress is very unforgiving about any imperfections in my shape. So, back it goes, unfortunately.

I ordered several dresses for my son's wedding in September. This dress was perfect. It is very elegant and yet very comfortable. The lace on top covers nicely but allows for a dressy look. I normally wear either a 12 or 14 and the 14 fit very nicely. If you are a tall person this dress might be to short for you as I am only 5' 4" and will wear a 2 inch heel.

This dress is way too long and the twist hits too low so it really doesn't slim the waist. The right side cut into my arm and was very uncomfortable. The button in the back was hard to close. The material and semi-wrap style are heavy so it wouldn't work for summer. The color (navy) and coverage were nice. If you're tall and have thin arms this could work, otherwise don't bother.

I really love the classy style of this dress and considered wearing it to my daughter's upcoming wedding. I'm 5ft and 122 so I knew the hem would need to be altered. I tried the size 8 but the twist of fabric at the left hip hip was a bit too low making it more like a 1920s flapper dress than the more flattering twist in the upper part of the hip drawing the eye upward. Unfortunately, it does not come in a petite size so I returned it. It may run slightly large. I think this would be a flattering style to minimize the abdominal area. I'd give it 5 stars if they made a petite in the color I wanted.

I've looked and looked for that perfect Mother of the Bride dress... Finally found it! Everything else was too frumpy or too sexy. This dress is perfect... Simple and elegant.
