perfect feminine menswear inspired shoe
This shoe is so stylish! I get compliments every time I wear them. They ran true to size for me. First I bought the Black Patent ones on the EileenFisher site. I was so obsessed with them I stalked everywhere to find the sold out matte black leather with the red stripe and came across it at Nordstrom and ordered on the spot. I love them both. The black matte leather is a bit more pliable, obviously (and I love that the leather is completely matte). They are very comfortable with the exception that I wore them barefoot (patent) the first time I got them and it shredded the back of my heel so I wear a very low profile no show sock with them - problem solved. The perfect "feminine menswear.

Love the look, not the quality
Loved the look and they fit true to size but wow I was so disappointed with the quality. For this price I was able to replace them with much higher quality boots. You’re definitely just paying for the brand here. Unless you’re willing to baby them, they are foam heels that don’t feel like they’ll last more than a month. Disappointed bc they’re super cute!

Cute patent creepers
I normally wear a size 9.5 in EF shoes and these were no different. A 10 would have been too big. They feel great right out of the box, but unfortunately I can't wear them without socks because they will make an awful sound when walking that is impossible to cover up so I must wear them with some type of sock. The opening of the shoe will need to soften with wear because it does sort of dig into the front of my ankle but not in a way that causes soreness. The profile of the shoe looks stylish at all angles and the opening doesn't yawn when walking and standing which I was worried they would do. I will wear these a lot this fall/winter when I need a change from ankle boots. They look heavy like a creeper style shoe but they are very lightweight! I would recommend these. You will not be disappointed.

Classy, stylish look, but not a good fit
Beautiful, stylish shoes. I thought they would look dressy but be comfortable. They didn't do either. Shoes are still and don't bend when you walk. So its awkward to walk, much less glide.

wonderful
I’m a huge fan of the Oxford and generally am wearing a cole Haan or Vince shoe. This shoe has a nice heel, without feeling like you’re wearing a heel, and looks fantastic. A little narrow in the toe, so maybe not ideal if you have a wide foot. Highly recommend!

Eileen Fisher Shoes!
As always, her shoes fit right out of the box. I wore my normal 6 1/2 in these and all Eileen Fisher shoes. I love all of them, and have never had a problem with them fitting perfectly. However I’m still trying to justify keeping them. They are gorgeous, but a little pricey to keep just because I like them! I’m just not sure how much I’d actually wear them, since I don’t work anymore. But don’t let that stop you.
