Soft 7 Premier Sneaker (Men)

I realize this is not a reflection of Nordstrom, but rather Ecco. Ecco quality is slipping. I have 2 pair of grey leather with tan leather trim that are the most comfortable, durable sneakers I’ve owned. So naturally, when I saw these during the Christmas season, I ordered a pair in the new color being offered. When I went to pick them up, I tried them on. The leather is thinner, almost like a canvas-like feel on the inside and the leather is not nearly as thick, soft or luxurious feeling. The inside of the sneaker is not finished in soft leather but is more rough/raw and the footboard is not nearly as padded. I was so disappointed I immediately returned them before leaving the store.

My husband is a fan of Ecco shoes and sneakers. He owns 2 pair of these sneakers from a few years ago and they have been his favorites. It was time for a refresh. I saw these online and decided to buy one pair. They were a big hit once on his feet. So I ordered another pair in a different color. This version has a better arch support and more cushioning. The soles have the perfect tread for safety. He wears these shoes everyday.
