'Hobart Tall Strap' Boot

I got these in brown, size 39 (I usually wear a 9.5). The first thing I noticed is that they actually FIT in the calf area! Most boots are too big at the top for me and feel more like rain boots. These boots have a strap at the calf that can be adjusted to accommodate many calf sizes -- so we all win! I would have been sold on that beautiful feature alone, but they are also extremely comfortable - they are ECCO after all. And the dark brown will be so perfect for fall and winter. I have lighter brown and black tall boots, and these will be a perfect addition to my wardrobe! Very excited about this purchase.

I ordered about six other pairs of tall boots from the Anniversary Sale but these are the only ones that really worked. The leather is gorgeous, the zipper works well, and they are very comfortable. What I like most about them is that they aren't especially bulky and they don't make your ankles look wide or huge like some other riding-style boots. They were a touch big -- I'm usually a 9 and ordered the 9-9.5, but I think the next size down would be too small. But I'm keeping these and ordering another color - these are awesome boots!!!

I have the worst body type for long boots. I am short (5') and have thick calves. I bought 2 pairs of these boots (brown and black) in a 6 and they are AWESOME deal based on the Anniversary Sale price. The adjustable straps at top are SUPER functional and don't scream "adjustable band." They are tasteful, subtle hardware. I also love the shade of this dark brown, which is like a dark walnut color. Just to make sure that I love these boots, I have been walking around the house all day long. It was a bit tight in the ankle area (yea, I have thick ankles too) first, but softened as I walked in them today. (I usually love Paul Green, Pedro Garcia shoes in order to give some context) Definitely KEEPER!

These boots are very nice looking. Ordered three pairs of Ecco boots and decided to keep these. They are a very dark color but are great for dressing up. The liner is rubbing off on my jeans but hopefully this will stop soon. Very comfortable with nice detailing. I would say calf size is average but the gusset and adjustable strap helps. I have a 14" calf and I have maybe a 1/2" to 3/4" to spare.

These boots fit perfectly and it does not take long to break them in. They aren't tall enough so it's behind your knee either. Perfect boots.
