Javas Penny Loafer (Women)

I like the color, look and the leather, but the leather does not seem to stretch. My regular size was too tight and narrow in the toe box, so I went up a half size. Although that fit properly, these shoes have no give in the leather and when I wore all day, I couldn't wait to take them off. My feet were hurt and were sore. Probably will trash them.

Love these! I forget the name of the color I got, maybe Java? Anyhow, it's a beautiful, rich cognac color! For me they ran true to size. Also, I have a very narrow foot and these run narrow. So if you have a wider foot, they may not work for you. But for those of us with narrow feet, I was super happy! Also were a great price for a leather loafer!!!

The sizing is interesting considering my experience and many other reviews. I wear an eight in all shoes and have for 50 years, however, these are a tad for short and a tad narrow. Because I love the looks of this penny loafer and am amazed at the craftsmanship, I’m re-ordering a 8 1/2. The price is great especially for such a well made shoe.

My feet are very narrow so that worked for me. I am usually a size 8, sometimes pushing to an 8 1/2 but these 8s worked well for me. I got the rum, which is a beautiful medium brown color with a hint of red and I think they are going to look great with a lot of different things! They also are very comfortable, I haven’t had a pair of Earth shoes in quite a while, but I am very happy with them. They are a tiny bit stiff but new leather is often like that and I expect they will soften up.
