Jordan Ruched Side Slit Gown

I'm curvy and tall (215 and 5' 11") and needed to find a formal Miami wedding guest dress so I ordered the XXL thanks to my chest size. This dress is quite sexy without crossing that line. I require ZERO alterations. The tummy ruching gives a slimming look. The straps are comfortable. The zipper works fine. I wish the fabric was softer, therefore I docked one of the stars for the review. I can't beat the price of $90 thanks to 25% off clearance. It's a great blank canvas for higher quality accessories. Looking forward to the February wedding!

I will start with the fit. I. Normally a size 6, so a small will normally fit perfectly. This dress was not about to zip. To be fair, I am a DD and that's where the zipper stopped. I got the Medium and as you can see, the girls were an issue. I think if you are a c cup or below that may be fine. I am 5'4" and definitely needed it hemmed even with 3 inch heels on. So keep that in mind. The material was easy to steam, and comfortable. The ruching made the dress very flattering, accentuated my curves, and hid my tummy. I was told my butt looked good in it but I never looked. I received many compliments throughout the night and the dress remained comfortable and flattering. Make sure you give yourself time to get the right size. There was no size chart. Women's fashion is ridiculous that way. I had a lovely time and would recommend this dress.

It’s not cheap material at all just light which makes it super comfortable! It does accentuate your curves so if you don’t want all your curves accentuated, don’t get it. It’s a tad long. I’m 5’3 125 pounds. I need to get it hemmed but it fits me so beautiful and I feel very sexy in it. I’m 52 and many dresses either make me look old or like I’m trying to look 20. This is classy, sexy and comfortable!

Let me start by saying I have been looking for a dress for my sons wedding for months. I thought I found the one in this dress. I ordered a XXL. It was a decision between this dress and same style but the sequence version (which is the one I choose). The only issue I have with this dress is the top. I'm a busty babe and I know if I went with this dress I would definitely need to have it altered, taped and be tucked in all over. It's a beautiful dress but if you are short and busty you will HAVE TO have this altered.The great thing is Nordstrom's offers alterations.
