Dream Floral Embroidered Lace Midi Dress

This dress immediately caught my eye on the rack for it's beautiful rose and peony embroidery pattern. With the many layers and boning, it's a thick and well-structured dress. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs and the XS fit my torso nicely while the length hit at the low/mid-calf. The straps are true string ties so you can adjust the length and play around with different looks. The zipper is good quality. The biggest downside though that the embroidery appears to fray easily since it's sewn into a thin, delicate mesh overlay and not a more sturdy fabric. I was disappointed to see flowers in multiple areas with unravelling thread as you can see in the close-up image. This bothered me enough to not end up buying the dress as I'd have to spend time trying to fix the loose threads. Plus I'd be extra worried about it being so fragile that it could get snagged or get more unravelled with each wear!
