How to use: Use at least once-weekly, after cleansing. Fill reservoir cup with distilled water, stopping below highest water line, and then turn on device. Steam will appear after 3-5 minutes. wonderful product - but lacking info
This device is simple and easy to use! The steam output is consistent, feels great and duplicates the exact type of steam received from the machines used in expensive facials. I have long been a big fan of steam to clear my stubborn adult acne. The negatives; there are no helpful instructions whatsoever in the manual. There is even a button labeled "ozone" on the machine that I have no idea what it does. The information under the details section of the product on this website provides more information than you will find opening the product box. I went to their website--no help. I will be calling the company just as another reviewer did to find out how best to use this product. I would like a protocol lined out--how often, how many minutes, etc. A previous reviewer mentioned the rep from the company told her what type of product and when to apply it in relation to using the steamer. That would have been nice to have in the manual. AND it would have been nice to receive some samples of their product advised to use with the steamer.

probably not worth the investment
My first exposure to this steamer was during a facial- my skin looked fantastic afterwards, but not sure how much of it was due to the steamer versus the products. I have most of the products at home, so decided to try to re-create the effect of the facial by getting the steamer too. I used it once- not really difficult to set up, but more effort than is probably necessary. It felt nice, but not much of an effect (although I cannot say if it would be more effective with continued use). Also, it's been 5 days since I used it and the steam nozzle still has condensation in it- and I live in Denver, which is really dry, I would expect it to have dried completely by now. That is a bad sign to me, I don't want to have moldy steam blowing out on my face. I will most likely return this and go back to my mom's old-fashioned way of steaming with a bowl of hot water and a towel tent.

Love the hydration!
My skin loves the hydration that this little steamer provides! Per the Dr. Dennis Gross rep's instructions, I cleanse my face and apply the Alpha Beta Peel and Ferulic Acid serum prior to steaming. During steaming, I apply the Trifix Acne Clearing Lotion. Supposedly, the medicated lotion can sink deeper into my skin during the steam session. Initially, I was worried about sweating off expensive product during the steam, but that hasn't been the case. I was told that you only need a light steam to open up your pores and so I use it for approximately 5 minutes twice per week.
My skin is always plumper the next morning. True love!

Love this Steamer
I love this steamer....I try to use it everyday if I can remember or have time. It works exactly like a professional one that would be used by someone who was giving you facials. I put distilled water in it, turn it on, and its ready in 2 mins or less.

Well worth the money
No need to spend hundreds of dollars on facials anymore. This device produces the same result as the big version used by professionals. It's really easy to set up and use as often as you like.

Refreshing
Love this facial steamer. It delivers a very fine mist. My skin felt hydrated and I love to inhale the mist too.
