^® Hyaluronic Marine^™ Meltaway Cleanser

I can see why someone would like this but its just not for me. There is something about the smell that I don't really like. It does feel really nice and smooth on the skin, it is hydrating. It removes all my makeup and SPF and rinses clean and leaves my skin feeling hydrated, not stripped. It has a gel cream texture that glides over skin. But I just don't love it, I prefer the balmier texture of a cleansing balm, which usually come in recyclable pots rather than tubes. Definitely not something I'll repurchase.

I use this as a first cleanse to remove make up. On it's own I can feel residue left on my skin after use. Does a decent job at removing make up but I definitely prefer using a regular cleansing balm. I experience this cleanser as quite gentle and it doesn't have too much of a scent. Not bad at all but for the price I'd pick something different.

The Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Meltaway Cleanser is a nice simple cleanser for keeping your skin smooth. Due to the fact that it has lactic acid in it, I can’t use this cleanser every day, as the chemical exfoliant component becomes too drying. Having said that, a couple of times a week this cleanser works wonders, sloughing away dead skin and providing a smooth base for my beauty ritual. I wouldn’t say it is hydrating as such, as my skin does feel a little tight and slightly dry after use, but it doesn’t dry my skin out so much that my other face products are rendered useless. I would recommend this for people with more combo skin and not sensitive dry skin. At least not for daily use.

My absolute favourite cleanser was recently discontinued the Omorovicza cashmere cleanser and after much searching this is the best replacement I have found. My skin is combination very sensitive with rosacea and perioral dermatitis, and prone to breakouts and not many cleansers can effectively remove all daily grime but without drying out my skin, triggering sensitivity while also breaking down oil in my oily t zone. This is one that can, it’s a light almost whipped desert like airy creamy texture with a very pleasant sweet scent. I always rinse it off as I dislike a residue and it leaves skin clean, but never feeling dry. I use it both morning and evening and find it perfect for both. I have not used it on my eyes as I prefer a separate eye make up remover but I think it would work well. It’s a brilliant cleanser I’m sorry I didn’t find it sooner.
