lovely gown
I ordered this a a possibility for my MOB dress. I liked the fit and the color, blue-green, but of course it is WAY too long. That seems to be a trend in long gowns. My daughter thought it looked too much like the bridesmaid dress it is intended to be, so I returned it, to find something more to her taste. It does run large. I am usually between a 12 and 14, and the 12 was a good fit. It seemed to need some bling to make it feel more like a gown for a wedding. The fabric alone cried out for some jewelry to give it more pizazz; of course, that can be added easily.

Poor quality
The color was not at all as depicted in the photo or described in the description~ "Blush" is not even close to bubble gum, this was bubble gum pink. The quality was pretty lousy, and the lining was thick and not at all comfortable, it felt like prom dress quality... The cut was pretty bad too, not well taylored.

Elegant dress
I intend to wear this dress to my daughter's wedding in Cancun. I am 5'8" tall, a size 8-10; the size 10 fits perfectly. It is an elegant-looking style and is made of nice lightweight material which hangs well and feels quite comfortable. I also like the double-layering of the material which hides little lumps and bumps beautifully. All in all, a beautiful yet very comfortable dress. My only caveat for this dress is with regard to the color. The blue-green presented on the website is not the blue-green which shows up at your door. The shade on the website is a much lighter and brighter blue than the actual flatter shade of blue. I would have preferred the more vibrant shade pictured, but settled for the drabber actual shade, as it's not bad...just not as pretty as it could be.

Wonderful fit!
This dress has a wonderful fit and feel. It's well constructed, and the chiffon flows beautifully. If you like the fit and flare look, you'll love this dress. I'm full figured, and it fit on top and skimmed over my stomach area to create a flattering fit. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because there is extra material around the bodice area, and it looks pleated.

Mother of the Bride--Donna Morgan
I ordered a size 16, and was very disappointed when it arrived, as it was fully 9 inches longer over-all than the size 14, which I eventually received. It took UPS a LONG time to deliver my second dress. I was beginning to believe I would never find a suitable option for my daughter's wedding. Thankfully, the size 14 was OK for me, and did not need alterating at all; I may consider Spanx to tuck in my tummy--I am 68 years old.
I am a large person, over 5' 9"; weight around 175. I thought it odd that, being as tall as I am, the size 16 was so extremely long. I also thought it strange there is was such significant variance between the two sizes. I bought the matching shawl, in silk, and I'm satisfied--I also got the jewelry recommended by Nordstrom--it is gorgeous. I expect many compliments! It was worth the exchange!

Passable
I'm generally a very thrifty person, so to begin with this dress is way overpriced. The material feels cheap and had I just found it around a store shopping on my own, I would have paid no more than $50 for it. However, this is the dress my sister and the rest of her bridal party decided on and hopefully she'll only be getting married once, so I had no objections to getting the dress.
The biggest problem I had with this dress was sizing. I looked at the size chart and ordered an 8 because it fell closest to my measurements (for reference, I am 5'7" with a 34" bust, 28" waist, and 38" hips). The 8 arrives in the mail, and it's too big: very roomy in the bust and a bit loose in the waist. So I order a 6. This comes in the mail and is also too big. Finally, I ordered a 4 and it seems to fit nicely. So in my situation, the size chart was really off, however I have a very small bust. I'm just glad Nordstom has free return shipping...
Once I actually had a dress that fit, I thought it looked very flattering and was well-suited for a wedding. The color is pretty (ridge grey) and the lining is very comfortable. The dress is very long an will need to be hemmed a good 4 inches, but that makes sense to account for tall women who want to wear heels.
Overall, I think it's a nice dress, but overpriced.

Poorly made and cheap material!
This was chosen as a dress for a bridal party. I hate it! Thank goodness the bride picked new dresses. It is such a poor quality of material. You can see through the back of the dress, too. It feels like you paid $ 20.00 for the dress, not $ 230. I am very surprised Nordstrom carries such a poor quality dress. Thank goodness the dress was returned immediately. Plus, I am very tall, and even with 3" heels (I am 5"10), it still drags on the floor. Looks better in the picture.
