FOUNDATION PERFECTION
I have been on a quest to find a replacement foundation for the one I had been using for several years. I am 57 with combination skin and large pores. The result of very oily and acneic skin for a great deal of my life starting at about 14 yrs old. I have always worked at keeping it clean and clear to the best of my ability with assistance from my dermatologists and over the counter items including creams, ointments and cosmetics.
Now, my skin is clearer than ever, but I am left with large pores that I can never seem to smooth over no matter how much $$ I spend, or how many products I try, from concealers to primers to foundations and powders. I have never skimped spending on using the best skin care items or on makeup. I could not begin to tell you which products I have tried, but I would say I have probably tried most of them. I am a great fan of Nordstrom and the products they carry. I have tried a few a few brand name products from other stores, but really with not complete satisfaction. I have also probably tried most of the brands at Nordstrom as welI. I honestly, had not tried Dior foundation before because I didn't find a formula that matched what my needs were. When I saw that Dior had come out with this new foundation, and the Forever and Ever Makeup Base and the loose powder, I thought maybe, just maybe it might work!! I apologize for making this review so lengthy but I wanted to give the background of my search I guess something that didn't exist until this/these products! I made an appointment at Nordstrom, so I could have the correct color chosen for me and try it out. The manager at Nordstrom took her time, and she agreed that the products I was interested in were probably the ones best suited to the results I was looking for. She matched me with the light beige. Less than a week later after using the Forever, Perfect Makeup Foundation (so true), the Diorskin Forever & Ever Wear Base, and the Diorskin Forever & Ever Control Loose Powder, I am AMAZED AND SO HAPPY!! My skin looks smooth and soft, not dry and line accentuated, but soft and smooth and naturally matte. Very, very soft and so comfortable!! I used to reapply foundation a couple of times of day because it would not stay on my face. I hardly even apply the powder more than once or twice during the course of 12 hour work days (office). That has never happened to me ever in my life!!! The powder really sets it all so smoothly and so well. I would truly describe it as a setting powder!! These products are Magnificent and although not inexpensive, I'd pay double!! To me, my skin looks airbrushed and it covers my pores without being cakey or settling into them. I am reviewing all 3 of these products because I needed a foundation, a primer and a powder. My EXCELLENT results are from using all three. I would suggest you try all 3 to get the results I have gotten. Finally my foundation, primer, powder search is over. I am glad now that my previous foundation was discontinued, just sorry I had to wait so long to find this. But, I am so glad that I did!!!!

Not for the very pale
The original version of this makeup was the best foundation I have ever used, so of course they had to change it. The new version does oxidize, so for most users getting a lighter shade will probably solve the problem. However, with my cave newt-pale skin, even the lightest shade looks horribly obvious along my jawline about 45 minutes after application. Makes me feel like I'm back in high school, but in a bad way. Dior: PLEASE work on this!!!

Forever, forever.
Fabulous on my old face. I am 78 and have not aged particularly well as I am a lifetime diabetic but Forever is very forgiving and keeps my skin looking fine for most of the day. It applies well with fingertips and looks great.
A neighbor recently said "what are you doing to your skin it looks great". Thanks.

Best foundation for all skin types
Love this foundation!!! I bought it after Jaclyn Hill put it on her best of 2017 list as the best foundation and I have not been disappointed. I’ve previously used MAC studio fix, Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra, Estée Lauder Double Wear, Too Faced Born This Way, Hourglass, NARS, L’Oréal......I’ve literally tried them ALL, but this one has become my favorite. I have to have full coverage because I’m currently fighting adult hormonal acne (reason I had to stop using MAC...it just made it worse) and this provides light feeling full coverage! It’s buildable which I love and need to cover my blemishes. If you’re on the fence, go get a sample in your shade and I can guarantee you will love it!

A Winner!
After trying many foundations, I landed on Diorskin Forever and really like it. I like the way it feels, the way it covers, and the fact that it has SPF 35. It doesn't weigh too heavily on my face -- it's just the right amount of coverage for me. I use a makeup brush to apply mine. My only complaint about the product is that you cannot see through the bottle how much is left -- I think the photo is deceiving. I know somebody else who shares this sentiment -- and thus, it's always best to have an extra bottle on hand.

Flawless All Day & Night
Diorskin Forever goes onto the skin effortlessly and evenly and you need only a small amount to cover your face and neck and chest. It doesn't feel heavy or greasy and won't slide off your face at anytime in the day. It covers my pores and sun damage spots in one light application. I literally cover my entire face, check and chest with one pump of foundation and a brush applicator. I live in a hot climate and have no problem at all with extended wear. My skin is at least t-zone oily, but you'd never know it because it's in balance with the foundation. I use a waterproof/smudgeproof creme blush and it blends beautifully with ease. When I sculpt over this foundation with my powdered contour, again, it blends beautifully with no harsh lines. Setting this foundation with translucent loose powder won't accentuate lines or Pores either. Everything just seems to work together with flawless results. I love this foundation, have used it for years, and it's definitely my confident first go-to.
