Crossover Stud Earrings with 18K Yellow Gold

I don't get the reviews that say these earrings are not solid because mine are! I bought mine at a David Yurman store (my "bday gift") but I doubt there's a difference in quality. They are a good size stud for someone with longer hair who wants to the earrings to peak out when wearing hair down. They are fabulous for when you want to go heavy on other pieces but don't want to leave the earrings bare because of the mixed metal design.
