Cutesy Mule (Women)

I purchased the pink pair, they are adorable. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 but felt this shoe in the 8 was borderline too small so I also purchased the 8.5. Ultimately the 8.5 felt too loose in width as I took individual steps so I kept the 8. Bottom of shoes don’t have much traction so I find myself slipping on tile and wood floors. Unfortunately my feet keep slipping out of these shoes constantly, they also make my feet sweat a lot (a problem I don’t usually have), which doesn’t help the situation. I tried them on inside my home without slipping out of the shoes but when walking at my real pace they just can’t seem to stay on my feet without my toes having to grip them. While they’re super cute they just aren’t that comfortable and aren’t good for walking compared to other flats I’ve tried. Had I realized I wouldn’t be able to keep them on my feet I would have sadly returned but now I’m just sadly disappointed.

I ordered the black shoe since I had already purchased the pink/blush shoe made by a different designer. That designer didn't offer the black shoe, so I decided to order the Steve Madden version, thinking it would look exactly like the picture. The black pair that I received has more of a rounded toe instead of the tucked toe that resembles a ballet slipper. The shoes are still cute so I will keep them. However, I'm still disappointed because they do not have the ballet slipper look that I was expecting.
