Muse Cotton Blend Sweater

I was so excited to find this sweater during a recent trip to my local store. Even more thrilled when it fit well - because I’m a petite and the regular size looked/fit great. But after wearing it just once, the pilling was unbelievable. You’d have to shave this sweater every single time wore it. I’m not sure much sweater would be left after regular use. Beyond the ridiculous pulling, the sweater looked like it was years old after I wore it once. I was so disappointed this didn’t work out...because I had been planning to purchase it in another color, or the “Voila” sweater. But back to the store it went. Thanks, Nordstrom for the hassle-free return.

I bought this in the tan color and really love it. I have to say it looks better fitted than when I wear my usual size. I tried on at the store in a S, XS and XXS. I don't know what possessed me to try on XXS but am glad I did because it looked the best somehow. Not too tight at all! The sweater is true to size but something about the way it's cut that made a smaller size more flattering on me. For context I wear a 34B and have have always had a little belly even when I was skinny. The bigger sizes actually emphasized my tummy, which is why I got the smaller size. I read that it may pill so I wash it by hand, which is the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. I rarely hand wash but in my opinion, it's well worth it considering how cute and flattering it is!
