Avène is the best stuff ever
This is my go to for lotion and not breaking me out. I still really miss the Cleance Expert Soin. That was the best stuff ever. If I had known they were discontinuing it I would have bought a truckload. Took me years to find something soooo good. As second choice I still recommend this product. Not sticky, absorbs quickly, and no nasty smells to worry about.

Disappointed— not the same as old formula
I purchased this hoping to replace my stash of the previous Cleanance Mat Mattifying Emulsion, but unfortunately, it is not the same. The new formula has an unpleasant, chemical-like smell, unlike the old version, which smelled similar to the cleanance face wash and was such a positive experience to apply. Additionally, the finish on my skin is noticeably different—this one leaves my pores more visible, whereas the previous formula smoothed everything out beautifully. I’m really disappointed that they changed it. Please bring back the old formula!

Love this lotion
I've been using this for years. Now my teens use it, too. It seems to work really great year round and we are in the Midwest. I just wish they didn't discontinue their original cleanser bc it was the perfect combo for everyone in my house from the summer through winter.

Game changer for skin, please don’t discontinue!
Please don’t discontinue this product! It is a remarkable skin care product that has improved my acne prone skin that I’ve suffered for two decades and have used countless different products that haven’t improved my troublesome and sensitive skin like this one has! I’ve purchased this product for years now and cannot picture myself using something else. I’m also secure that there individuals that have had their skin improve remarkably because of this particular product. Please don’t discontinue it!

Love the product, love the
Love the product, love the finish, but I hate the scent. I’m really sensitive to fragrances in my face products. I thought I was going to be ok, but after the third or fourth time I used it, my eyes were burning and itching. I had to wash it off. If it were fragrance free, it would be perfect!
