The blade actually cracked…I’ve never
The blade actually cracked…I’ve never seen that before, and certainly not in a brand new knife. I’m in the process of returning it via the warranty process.

So sharp I nearly instantly cut my hand
I've been using dull knives for years now, and I joked to myself that I needed to be careful when using this one. I was stunned at how smoothly and easily it cuts EVERYTHING, to the point that I wasn't even a little surprised when I sliced open my hand.
I'm fine, by the way, and I will HAPPILY recommend these knives to everyone.

Replacement Knife
I asked for coverage for my decades old chef’s knife when the handle began to chip. Wusthof very promptly gave me a credit to replace the knife. When I bought the original, it was a splurge. I couldn’t really afford a beautiful knife, but I cook a lot and decided to invest. I used that knife so much over the years. Now, thanks to Wusthof’s efficient warranty process I have a new chef’s knife that will probably outlive me. Five stars aren’t enough to rate the quality of a Wustof knife nor to rate the way the company stands behind its products.
