Mini Marcie Leather Crossbody Bag

I am a minimalist when it comes to what I carry around in my handbags. After toting around everything and anything for two kids- I only carry lipgloss, keys, my phone, my wallet, hand sanitizer, and occasionally sunglasses (I live in Seattle). I have always loved the Marcie bag but it has always been way too big but the mini is PERFECT! It lays perfectly on my hip as a crossbody or as a long shoulder bag. I want it in grey too now. :) highly recommend for a boho staple.

I just cannot say enough about my beautiful mini handbag. I researched every type of mini handbag out there before I settled on this one. I have all the different Marcie styles, and this is by far my most favorite because it fits all my essentials even though it is small. The leather is absolutely beautiful. I chose black so I don't have to worry about stains; more care has to be taken with the lighter colors due to risk of color transfer. I have my Chloe zip with charm cardholder, my iphone 8 plus, key fob, glasses (in a cloth pouch), lip items in the main compartment, and small hand sanitizer and lip balm in the front flap pocket for easy accessibility. There is an inside slip pocket that can be used for receipts/small papers/tickets or credit cards. It looks so cute when hand-carried (which is the main reason I purchased it) and is lightweight for being a leather bag. It can be dressed up or down. It's nice to have the optional strap for hands-free carrying. I like the thinner handles (compared to the original model that came out a few years ago), though I think it is a tad bit smaller but not noticeably so. This new version does have a lower price point. The older model also had a zipper that came out very easily when completely unzipped and was hard to re-zip. This newer model has a zipper that stays in place as long as you don't unzip it all the way. You do have the option of having better access to the inside of the bag if you want to unzip completely. I originally saw this bag at another department store and thought it was the cutest thing ever but couldn’t fathom spending that much on such a small purse. Fast forward a month later and I picked this up towards the beginning of the quarantine. It was on sale and I had Notes to use so I felt a bit better about the purchase. This has turned out to be my most used bag lately because it can easily hold my iPhone XS, small wallet or cardholder, car key, house keys, lip balm, face mask and hand sanitizer. It seems silly but buying this bag has made me realize that I can downsize the number of items in my purse and I now feel strange when I switch bags and carry a bigger purse. I was debating between the black and the tan, but the black won out cuz it was slightly cheaper. I may pick up the tan in the future if it goes on sale again..

This is a beautiful bag, the grey color and gold hardware combo is amazing. However, it is very small and the opening is not big because of where the zipper is located. You will have to rotate your items to fit through the opening which bothered me a lot, so I ended up returning it after lots of thoughts.

Yes, it’s not inexpensive but completely worth it! I have been eyeing this bag for some time and when I saw it on sale I had to get it. Impeccable quality( made in Italy), perfect size for a trifold wallet, phone, keys, lip stick, etc. Strap is just the right length...bag lays right at the hips. And the color is versatile for all year long wear.
