C Essential Full Coverage Underwire T-Shirt Bra

About 2 weeks ago, I was shopping the anniversary sale and I was looking, not really for a bra but other lingerie. The Nordstorm associate was very helpful and asked me about my bra. I told her I hated buying bras because I never found one that was comfortable for me. She kindly offerred me a fitting and I said why not. The size she told me was shocking and not anywhere what I thought or have been wearing, even though I had had a fitting at Soma about 6 months ago. This Chantelle bra in the right size was EXACTLY what I needed and now I look better and feel better. I will now always go to Nordstorm for my bras. Thank you Nordstorm for hiring and training outstanding sales associates.

I am typically a frugal shopper, except when it comes to bras. I was fitted six years ago and this brand is my go to. Except for exercising, I only wear Chantelle brand bras. The fit is perfect. The fabric is soft and supportive all around, no back or underarm bulge. The cup offers nice coverage and is not visible under clothes. The breasts are separated and allows clothes to nicely fit the front. The straps fit my shoulders well, far enough apart to support the chest without feeling any tug/strain on my neck muscles.

Ever since I became a woman of a certain age my lovely, perky B cup darlings metamorphosed into Double DD (E!) cup...things I had to forge a new, but still caring, relationship with. Around the same time clothes became more form fitting. Ack! What a dilemma. The goal: smooth lines, breasts cradled lovingly and residing where God intended them to be, which is not halfway to my waist! Even the most critical woman in my acquaintance compliments me on not letting myself down. In short: good fit, good support, good product.

I was very excited to see that Chantelle made a T-Shirt bra as my other Chantelle bras have seams and lace that show through some of my t-shirts. I got the same size as the one I have that fits perfect but this bra doesn't fit well. I was overflowing the cup and the straps were pretty narrow with no padding for a bra that size. I have a very small frame but, unfortunately, large heavy breasts. A wider, slightly padded strap would be more comfortable. I am disappointed that these bras are not carried in the stores as that is the only way to get a proper fit. When I ordered these two bras online they were $43 ea. I ordered two more in a bigger size and were surprised that they are now $58. I like the idea of the T-shirt bra but may have to buy a different brand. I have no worries though as the Nordstrom return policy is the best even after the bra is worn. There are no questions asked.I am hoping the bigger bras are a better fit otherwise I will return all four and look for a different brand.
