Loose Powder

I used to use another brand of powder and was not amused when I found out it was discontinued. I did a bit of online searching to see if there was an equivalent. There was quite a bit of uproar over its discontinuation. I found an article and video in which a woman, in an attempt to find a replacement, compared and reviewed several similar loose powders. The Chantecaille powder was one of them. She seemed to be most impressed with it. So, I decided to give it a shot. I ADORE it! It could not be more perfect. I ordered the powder in Shadow, and it's amazing! I've used it over my makeup and been pleased. But, the true kicker was when I just used a light dusting on my bare face. Oh, I can't tell you how fabulous this powder is. I'm 41 and my skin is very clear and smooth. But, that little dusting was wonderful. I just hope they don't take this away too! My only complaint is the packaging. In the reviews I read before purchasing, many people mentioned that it was only necessary to reveal a few of the holes, because the powder tends to go everywhere. I wasn't worried about that, especially since I won't be carrying it with me during the day. I was not, however, expecting powder to be everywhere when I opened the little box it comes in! There was so much powder that I actually thought the powder was open. It was not. It appeared to be sealed properly. I guess it's because it's so finely milled that it was able to seep out. So, as many other reviewers on the Internet have said, Chantecaille may want to revisit the package design. My apologies for the long review, but I love this powder so much that I can barely contain my excitement! I absolutely will buy this again and again.
