CHANEL POUDRE UNIVERSELLE LIBRE is an ultrasoft loose powder that provides sheer, light coverage with a matte finish, setting and perfecting makeup as it evens skin tone. Photo-reflective pigments help disguise imperfections without emphasizing lines.
How to use: Use the puff applicator to apply the powder. Lightly tap the puff on the back of your hand to remove excess product. Then, press lightly over the face.

The only loose powder I will ever use
I was hesitant to purchase this powder because of the price. But went with my gut and listened to the other reviewers. I have never been so happy! It is the best of any I have ever tried and lasts a LONG time. I have tried Sephora's, which is $16. It aged me more, did not hold up to my oily skin, and had to be replaced at least three times as fast. I also tried Clinique, and the quality just wasn't the same. The thing about Chanel is, it is made so well you don't use as much. This is very important if you are like me and have oily skin. It makes me look more natural and actually saves me money because I use less product. Before I had to use a special mattifying lotion, now I don't. I would recommend to anyone.

Review for 2013 Moonlight Shade
I want to preface this first by saying that this 1-star review is for the 2013 Holiday MOONLIGHT SHADE ONLY. The regular Poudre Universelle is a dream! It's my favorite loose powder to use.
The Moonlight shade is terrible! It shouldn't even be marketed as an allover powder. The flecks of glitter are so prominent, it looks like you sprinkled craft glitter on your face. I was really hoping for just a lovely holiday "glow," but this was not it! It's definitely going back.

Chanel Natural Finish Loose Power
This time I ordered two other less expensive powers to see if I could save money. Needless to say.... I sent them both back. I kept my Chanel it is simply the best for my aging skin. I use a tinted moisturizer and finish it off brushing with a large power brush this wonderful power. It gives a nice soft look not to made up more natural. I am in my late sixties and I find less is more. Love my Chanel power and lipstick. Only lipstick I found the stays on without bleeding into fine lines.

THE BEST!!! Unbelieveable ;-D
This powder is INCREDIBLE. For years, I have battled the shadow line under my eyes - I have tried everything, nothing worked - the closest I could get to making them unnoticable was baby powder which dried out my skin. I tried this at the suggestion of a sales consultant at the store...After a light dusting,"POOF" I swear my lines under my eyes are gone! And this powder does not dry out, cake or settle on my face. It makes my skin look flawless all day/night through hot and cold weather. I do not wear the powder all over my face though only because I don't need to - I use Dior Sculpt Foundation which I also HIGHLY recommend. I LOVE this powder - IT'S A MUST HAVE!!

Love it
I just purchased this in store yesterday and used it today. I absolutely love it. Chanel is, hands down, my favorite for face makeup. The cream compact is so gorgeous on so I decided to purchase this to set it. I am so glad I did. Just looks beautiful on and is so finely milled that it sets makeup perfectly. Also, this powder is GIANT. You get a lot of product. For reference the MAC loose powder is .28 ounces and this is 1 ounce. The jar is big.

Beautiful Powder!
I have a deep skin tone, so I chose Dore 4. It has just a hint of color, but is primarily translucent . It feels silky and appears to color correct to your skin tone color. I have oily skin , and it helps me stay matte all day . This powder is costly,but worth it.

I am in love!
especially using the Chanel liquid foundation first, when I use this powder it makes my face look so smooth and soft. I've always had problems with trying to cover my acne and scars on my face, but his duo really works for me I don't think I could go back!
