What it is: A high-precision long-wear eyeliner with an ultrafine, felt tip that allows for easy, precise application in a single stroke.
What it does: The latex-based, water-resistant formula delivers intense color with versatile, long-wearing results.
How to use: Use the tip of the liner to trace the upper lashline from the inner corner of the eye outward. Extend the line toward the tip of the brow to create a cat-eye. For a more intense look, lay the brush flat against your lashline to draw a thicker line.

Great eyeliner
All CHANEL - eyeliners, shadows, brows and mascaras: I am using CHANEL LE LINER DE CHANEL Liquid Eyeliner #512 Noir Profond (black) and on the top you will see #516 Rouge Noir (a deep plum-maroon color), I put the two colors on my eyelid to show the difference of the colors. The eyeliners are long wearing and does not smudge and easy to apply.
Eyeshadow CHANEL LES 4 OMBRES Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow #308 Clair-Obscur, I am using the two lightest colors on the palette.
I love CHANEL matte eyeshadows, I own every eyeshadow palette of CHANEL. When used with a wet flat brush the colors are deeper, blends smooth and looks airbrushed, they blend so incredibly well, I just cant get enough of CHANEL’s eyeshadow palettes.
The lashes I am using CHANEL LA BASE Mascara Base (primer) and CHANEL LE VOLUME DE CHANEL Mascara #10 Noir (black), CHANEL’s mascara is just perfect.
The brows I am using CHANEL CRAYON SOURCILS Sculpting Eyebrow Pencil #10 Blond Clair on the front of the brow, and #30 Brun Naturel on the end of the brow.

If you are a makeup artist, then this may work for you. If you have tons of time to get the application right, this may work for you.
But if you are looking for a liquid liner that won't go into your eyeball or land on your bottom lash line this is not for you.
I tried, I really tried ,to apply this liner and I wanted to love it but I can't. It is very pigmented (not a bad thing) but if you mess up eyeliner application easily (like I do) this is not a forgiving product.
Again, in the right hands this may work but for everyday home use this eyeliner was a disaster for me.

A Learning Curve Worth Learning
I bought three of these: The metallic mauve, the bronze, and the rouge noir which is the best of the lot in my opinion as it goes beautifully with my dark green eyes. All three, though, are simply gorgeous and once they set, they don’t budge. There is; however, a learning curve because they are a very wet fluid. The first time I used the eyeliner, I had way too much product on the brush which made it a bit difficult to control. Now, I simply wipe the excess product off on the side of the opening and I have the right amount to do both eyes without any glitches. I prefer a thin, lash-hugging line that is gently smudged and these new eyeliners give me enough smudge time to do that before they dry. And to reiterate, once these babies set, they set! Except for the modern colors, these remind me of the little jars of liquid eyeliner we used to use back in the late 50’s/early 60’s.

Not a great experience!
This liner is very 'wet' meaning it is hard to apply. It ends up on your lower eye area. It also leaves that funky looking white line between the eye lid and the lashes. Thus you have to go back and line this area. Hard to use. Takes a very, very steady hand and more patience than I have.
Last, it's a very, very small amount of liquid liner in this tube. The picture on the left of the product, the small area on the bottom where it says Chanel, that's all the product you get. Disappointed in Chanel.

MESSY to use!
This product does not live up to the one it replaced! It's messy to put on. It gets on your eye lashes. The square holder is awkward to hold. The product is similar to the one Chanel sold years ago in a small bottle. the brush was separate. Not happy at all with it!
