Warmest, Lightest fashion statement
An eye catcher thats fully functional as stated in the description of this jacket. I've received compliments each time I wear it. In my opinion, it sits on me as a short parka. This jacket is extremely feather light in weight. 1000 fill down!!! The symbol on the chest is statement (I'm glad Arcteryx did not use bold colors), which is backed by a well insulated barrier. Windproof and warm is an understatement. The color is exactly as shown in the images. I love thats it gives off a dark shade and is not glossy in finish. Smooth to the touch. Deep zippered hand pockets good enough to store gloves. An inner stretchy mesh sleeve pocket deep enogh to hold goggles in its case, ski gloves or a scarf. The inner chest pocket has the stash bag that the jacket fully compresses into. The hood is fully insulated and can be adjusted with the discreet pull. The hem have discreet pull tabs as well to fully lock in heat and keep all wind out. Using the pulls, I can either leave the hem full length or cuff it waist level for sports activities. As for the durability of the outer shell, I have not tested it yet as for all this jacket has seen so far are NYC 22° weather with windchill of 11°. And I felt nothing. I love the two way smooth zipper. Im 5'11", 217lbs, athletic build and the large has a tailored fit with enough room to wear a heavy cable knit cardigan with a button up shirt under and a thermal top underneath that, with enogh mobility to move around without restrictions. I've always wanted to own an Arcteryx and so glad that my first purchase was a Cerium Sv hoody in black sapphire. Even though it was not on sale (purchased from Nordstrom), I'm extremely impressed with the quality and build. Just a suggestion to Arcteryx....maybe pit zips with mesh (same thats used for the inner stash pocket), liners...just to dump heat while trekking. I absolutely love that Nordstrom had this jacket with same day availability/pick up. Thank you for making my first Arcteryx purchase a seamless transaction.

Jacket allows cold wind to infiltrate onto my neck
The jacket would be warm if the ability to adjust the hood were improved. There is an adjustment in the back of the hood. The problem is that wind infiltrates in the front, past my chin and onto my chest. There is no way to adjust this poblem, so i returned the jacket i had purchase. What a shame!

Ppl saying its too warm are capping, moderate warmth, need a thick sherpa jacket under, 4 stars because it fit my arms length lol, needs a little insulation and actual cuffs

Last puffer you’ll need
I love this jacket. It can get a little too warm but the double feature zipper comes in clutch. It’s soft light as a feather and puffy.
