Great Staple
I love this shirt. I have it in Kale and Weathered Brick. A few warnings though. It will shrink about 2 inches when hand washed. To keep the length I highly recommend having the shirt dry cleaned. It does wrinkle easily, but not a deal breaker for me. I love the cut and color of these shirts. I kept TTS, but size down if you want a more fitted and less oversized look. Looks great with skinny jeans.

inaccurate washing instructions
I really loved this shirt, until I washed it following the instructions on the tag. The shirt that was once loose, and big shrunk to a crop top version, and became unwearable. The fabric is not something I would have guessed would have shrunk, and for the price I was severely disappointed. If you do buy, never put it in the dryer.

Shrinks like crazy!
Sadly Madewell is using this 100% viscose material that shrinks at least one full size even when washed in cold water/gentle, no dryer. I will watch for this fabric in the future and either avoid it completely, or order 1-2 sizes up. It's true that this top runs large, but not after you wash it!

This is a great top. It runs a bit big. I'm typically a small and got an extra small. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the top rides up towards your neck and you have to like pull it down often. Other than that, great top.

Great until washed
This is a great shirt, until it’s washed. I wish I would have listened to the other reviews about it shrinking, I’m talking TWO sizes! When purchased it runs large, once washed runs small. So disappointed in Madewell, at the very least the tags should read dry clean only. I followed the wash directions and this shirt is a complete loss now, such a bummer.

I really like this top, its great quality and it has an oversize fit which makes it very casual. I would buy it in different colors. I bought the x-small and it was still an oversize fit on me ( 5 ft 3 and 125 pounds).
