Right Nina Ballerina Flat (Women)

I've been wearing the Right Nina style since about 2009, many different colors over the years. I am a 37 in Dansko, a 7.5 in most American brand sneakers, and always, always a 38 in the Right Nina. So I ordered the light pastel grey in a 38, not thinking much about it because they have been so reliable. Well, they just arrived, and they are just-enough-too-short that I can't make up my mind about exchanging for a 39 or keeping these and hoping the leather stretches. I mean, they are really only about 1-2 mm too short! So I don't know. Formerly, loved them; have recently bought the black with purple elastic straps in 38 and they were fine, and bought the black ghillie style in 38 and they were also fine. I'm inclining towards keeping these, but thought this review, rambling though it is, might help someone.

1. bad quality - leather peeling and shoe is overall completely worn out after 6 months of wearing about twice a week. 2. very sweaty and smelly when you take them off. 3. comfortable, but runs extremely small. i’m a 39 and had to go up to size 41. 4. the camper warranty is useless and won’t cover the cheap quality of this expensive shoe.

This is my second pair of the Camper Right Nina Ballerina flat. My first pair was purchased 10 years ago, but after a LOTS of miles in them, the heels were wearing down so I decided to get a new pair. My old pair was a buttery soft leather, with a soft leather lining. The leather on the new pair is not as soft and the lining is cloth which worries me a bit. The heel has been improved a bit on this style since I got my first pair. It looks like the heel may not wear down the same way as my old pair. The insole on the new pair is a synthetic fabric that isn't as smooth as in the insole in the old pair and it has "Camper" stamped/ indented in the sole (the old pair also did not have) which I kind could feel under my heels. I tried to put a thin "No Sock" liner in the shoe but it cause my pinky toe to rub slightly when I walked so I took them out which seemed to stop the issue. The new shoes sort of make my feet feel hot in them which was not an issue in my old pair. I hoped these would be good for vacations like my old pair were. (I walked up to 10 miles a day in the old pair.) I'm not sure if these are capable of that with the inner lining being cloth. These are still nice shoes though I don't think they are quite as nice as my old pair.
