Eleventh Hour Eau de Parfum

Driving to a dinner with a relative of mine, and could not stop sniffing the entire car ride- I loved the scent of her perfume. I had to ask her, "what is that you're wearing" and she responded Eleventh Hour by Byredo. Sure enough, I hope on Nordstrom and it available online! The scent is quite unisex, but definitely works as a versatile and delicious scent on any who chose to wear it. Warm, but not offensive. Certainly welcome to my nostrils. Would buy as a man or woman. Love!

I’ve rewritten this review several times now because I just don’t know how to describe this scent for you! I first smelled this in a sample sent in another Nordstrom order; unfortunately, my Portland, OR Nordstrom doesn’t carry Byredo and I was completely unfamiliar with the brand. I searched for the fragrance online after my first wear and was blown away by the price so I used my sample sparingly. When it emptied, I purchased a bottle because it became my absolute favorite! It’s spicy but has a sort of berry to it; it’s a bold fragrance and maybe a little on the dressy side although I wear it frequently. Nordstrom accepts returns if you buy the bottle and dislike the scent but I’m hopeful you love it as much as I do ... that way, it won’t be discontinued ;)

I wanted something new and not necessarily “me”. Tested many others, a couple of which I really liked were not available in the store, but available to order and ship. I kept testing and made a joke with the sales associate about finding something at the “eleventh hour”. When I picked this up and sprayed it, it was the ONE. Definitely took me way out of my comfort zone, but it was definitely the one today. Purchased it, then sprayed some on from the tester. It lasted the remainder of the day. Definitely worth it!!!!

I went to flagship Nordstrom and smelled every.single.Byredo.scent. If you want a good starter scent that will appease the masses, I’d recommend a Mojave Ghost or Gypsy Water. This scent, however, is something that not many other will have and is incredibly unique. It’s spicy at first, but dried down on me with the most pleasant cedar smell. It’s unlike any other scent I have (MFK, Replica, Chanel, etc.) or have every smelled and for that reason, I had to have it. It’ll be a conversation starter and I can’t wait to wear it!
