poor quality
I expected so much more form a skirt at this price point. The inside hidden button fell off just trying it on and I can tell the thin fabric lining it was sewn to would eventually tear with any tension put on the button. The adjustable waist was the selling point but after receiving the skirt realized in order to ever use the smaller adjustable one would need to start with a skirt several sizes too big which would probably just look too big through the hips. I envisioned being able to make the waist smaller with weight fluctuations or depending on what top I wanted to wear. A person would have to be able to go down a good 2 plus inches (maybe more) to ever use the adjustable waist. Besides all of that the fact that a button popped off just trying it on is a sign of poor craftsmanship.

Terrible
After washing this skirt 3 times the 2 back pockets were both fraying at the corners. Can’t wear it now. I also did not like how thick the fabric was for a skirt. What a waste of money!

Nice skirt but I had to shorten it
I'm 5'6", usually a size medium/8 in Ralph Lauren brands. I purchased this in a size 28 from a department store. The 28 was the correct size, but like another reviewer mentioned, instead of hitting be right below the knees, it hit me at mid-calf. Luckily, I had an honest saleswoman give me her opinion and she said the skirt would be much more flattering on me if it hit me right below the knees instead of at the widest part of my calf. So I had the store shorten the skirt and now it's perfect. That said, I purchased it on sale and it's still the most money I've ever spent on a denim skirt (even without the alterations). But, it's unique and well made (love the 100% heavyweight cotton) and I'm always looking for a denim skirt because they look good with everything. I will mention that I rarely, if ever, need items shortened--I have long limbs for someone who is 5'6"--so I really think this is a design flaw as it's not made for the "average" woman.

Wish it came in petite
I love this skirt. I really do but I had to return because my petite size. Instead of hitting right under my knee like the model it hit me mid calf. Even though I’m 5’3” petite pants don’t always work on me because my inseam is slightly longer but I have a very short waist. So I was hoping this would work but alas no. It cuts me off. I’d say if you’re 5’5” and above this could be perfect on you. Don’t hesitate to buy. Fits true to size.
