Buttercup Slingback Sandal (Women)

The cushion on the footbed of this sandal is amazing. The best feature is the size of the crossing straps. I have narrow, flat feet and it’s difficult to find sandals with straps that don’t leave a huge gap at the top of my foot. These are perfect, no notes. Won’t require breaking in. Super cute and comfy, very happy with my purchase. I’m a size 8 and they are true to size.

I wear a Medium width size 8 shoe in many brands, but this sandal is too wide in the front, and there is no way to adjust it. The length was fine. But the front was so big that my feet slid forward as much as an inch or more beyond the sandal. The adjustment in the slingback didn't help. There was simply no way the front of my foot stayed put. I bought this based on a review by someone who said they had narrow feet and loved these. But everyone is different and on me these were impossible. As for quality, they are nice, but the leather is thin and will stretch after a few wears. The padding seemed OK, but I couldn't walk in them, so couldn't test it. I am in the process of trying to find sandals in this color and have several brands at present to test. Frankly, I am finding leather and hardware of this quality or better in sandals for half the price. So, in addition to the fit issue, this sandal fails the value test as well. Hence my low rating.
