Superior Quality Shoe

Totally different fit
I've been a Ghost fan for many years (have gone through at least 4 pairs, Ghost 15 being the last) and have never had any issues until this version. The top of the shoe comes up significantly higher than previous versions so that the sides (which include a stiff plastic section for the upper laces) rub against my ankle. It is extremely uncomfortable, even just trying them on! Very sad since the Ghost has always been my go-to. I also tried the new Glycerin Flex and the Ghost Trail and they do the exact same thing. Need a running shoe that sits below the ankle, not rubs against it.

I already want to order another pair

Ghost 17 is GREAT
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had 5 different "Ghosts" throughout the years, and this one is the most cushioned and comfortable. My last year's pair weren't too worn, but I felt that they had lost some of their support, so got the new Ghost 17. Comfortable, cushioned, supportive, and all around great for the walking that I do.

Loved them

Comparison with my prior Brooks Ghost.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had Ghost 3, 8 (which I still have), 14, 16 (x2), which I have liked ALL better than the 17. To me the 17 doesn't feel as comfortable on my feet and kind of harder. I'm just a walker and do not run, so I can't compare them on running. I'm 73 so it could just be my feet, Just my thoughts.
