Boxy V-Neck Organic Linen T-Shirt

I bought this tee in size small in the field color. Tees are my go-tos and I do like boxy tees. The color is beautiful and the quality of the linen is excellent. It has a perfectly placed v-neckline and the sleeves are comfortable. The length is just right for the pants and skirts I'd wear with it. While I knew it was an oversized fit, my normal top size small ( 5'4, 34B) was too big at the sides and it just wasn't a good look. Other than that, I love the tee and am going to try the xs which I'm sure will be perfect, then to choose more colors!

I love the fabric, the forgiving drape of the style, and all the wonderful colors! This is indeed a staple part of my summer outfit, just around town or on a normal day, paired with white jeans or on a really hot day, white shorts. Just wish,for my white jeans, that it were 1 inch or so longer (as this basic category of Eileen Fisher tee was usually, a few years back). In fact, I still have a couple of them from back then, and they were about two inches longer. Which, at least in my case, when I’m wearing white jeans or white shorts, I like to just disguise a bit of my derriere and the front of my “girl parts” a bit (hate to say it, the camel toe area), when wearing white pants, …and I think a lot of of eileen Fisher customers might actually appreciate these just an inch longer, as I know it’s been a topic in reviews in recent years, that suddenly eileen picture came out with this “basic length” concept, which is just a little short for some of us. I don’t mean that I would want a long tunic-length tee (EF’s so called long-length) coming halfway to my knees, but just a little bit longer. So I compare the M and L and that aspect, and opt to size up to a size large, (which is a little bit too loose around my middle,) but it gives me that extra inch. In fact, I noticed between the size medium, and the size large there is almost a 2 inch difference. So I size up to get that little bit of extra length that makes me feel more comfortable (to come just about to the bottom of my front zipper of my pants as an 5’1” woman for reference…(and in the loose drape it seems to work) , To be fair, it is possible this years model is a smidge longer than two years ago when I stopped buying these, so if that’s the case, I should say thank you to the designers who read the reviews. I DID just buy some of these and am happy to be keeping them, so thanks! :-) Absolutely wonderful Fabric. I love wihere the V-neck hits, and that this tee sits close at the shoulders (which makes it look tidy and more polished) and a bit swingy and drapey lower down. Just wish there was that little extra inch or so of length, but still I have purchased just now in a number of colors to join the slightly longer ones I still have from years ago.
