The Alpha-Male of colognes
As they say imitation truly is the sincerest form of flattery even in perfumery. And Bleu can consider itself highly praised now six years later with it's many fragrance copy-cats cashing in on Polge's successful formulation. With that said, Bleu de Chanel is my second most worn fragrance. A younger charismatic brother to Platinum Egoiste this popular "people pleaser" is always welcomed in any setting. Is it challenging? No, definitely not. Does it develop into a long drawn out chain of notes? Not to my nose. But what it offers is predictability, consistency always wearable for any occasion. Also, it may not be a priority to some but this is easily my most complimented scent. The top notes of this sparkling grapefruit/ginger scent never fail to turn heads as you walk by. And the vetiver/cedar basenotes will give you a happy sunny glow that makes others smile. The marketing and testing panel for Chanel definitely got this Polge creation right as both sales and hype are still going strong and well deserved. So if a bright sparkling citrusy aromatic is suitable to your style Bleu like a loyal friend will never let you down!

Scents of a man
Natural smells bring joy and luxurious feeling. Originality makes you feel secured and manly feeling. I will not trust any other place to acquire my needs besides Nordstrom.

Lasts All Day
This is my first-ever eau de parfum (vs. eau de toilette). The main difference is this scent lasts all day. Fortunately, the scent is not overwhelming and good for the office and also going out. Also, the smell does NOT change throughout the day. I've had some scents later smell like body odor--not this one. It smells fresh all day. I'm reminded how it retains the good scent I started with in the morning when I take off my shirt at night.
It's made in France.

A Manly Man's EDP
I smelled this when the EDT came out years ago. I then smelled the EDP and wondered why it took me so long to get on board. I bought the 5 oz EDP. This has "SEXY" written all over it. It lasts, it projects well, it is very pleasing to the nose. So glad I have a bottle. It will always be in my rotation.

HE LOVES IT!
Got this scent for my husband who absolutely loves this scent! I really enjoy it too. Definitely a great improvement from what he had been wearing, which we were spraying on our dog!

Too sweet, weak projection, dies quickly
I was really disappointed by the EDP version of this scent. I've used the EDT Chanel Bleu for years and it has always been one of my favorites. So if you are getting the EDP hoping its going to be stronger, longer lasting, with better projection let me assure you it is not. The EDP smells kind of similar to the EDT, but the EDT is well balanced and striking, a woody, smoky classic. The EDP on the other hand, is too sweet and feels off its balance. I have also found that it does not last throughout a day. Not even as long as the EDT surprisingly. This has easily been my most disappointing fragrance purchase in years. If you want something like Chanel Bleu EDT but a bit different I suggest trying Tom Ford's Vert de Bois.

Well blended this time
I've tried the EDT version several times and could not get myself to enjoy it (never really got past the opening) to sharp, pungent, vetiver and not pleasing to my nose. When the Parfum was released I had to give it a try. Wow! Nicely blended and it passed my nose test; it's smooth, rich notes yet softness to the scent and alluring, masculine but sexy. I purchased the Parfum and I have been wearing it. I would recommend for more of a polished, groomed, nicely dressed gentlemen out on the town, date or just dressed nice. This is my number one evening scent when I want to impress the ladies!
