jane iredale
As a casting director and producer, Jane Iredale noticed the negative effects of makeup on actresses' and models' skin and thought, "How about a makeup that's good for the skin?" She launched her eponymous line in 1994 with the product Amazing Base, a skin-soothing loose mineral foundation that remains a bestseller today. The brand offers a comprehensive collection of makeup and skin care products designed to nourish the complexion and enhance its natural beauty.

Not sure about this brush yet
I used this brush to apply a cream foundation but not sure about it. I don’t think it applied my foundation smoothly. I love all other Jane brushes.

Disappointed
I loved the brush, it's great for applying the Dream Tint or Liquid Minerals. However, after using it for 2 years - with carefully washing it as instructed - the bristles are falling off... I can't even use it anymore because my face is filled with bristles. So disappointing.

Not a quality product.
This was a replacement brush because the one I bought a year ago began losing its bristles 9 months after I got it ( even though I am careful and know how to clean it). The first one I ever had lasted for many, many years.
I have used this brush 4 times since I got it and today a bristle came out, so I think the quality has declined and I will not get any more brushes from Jane Iredale. You are discontinuing this one anyway apparently.

Good Brush for Mineral Foundation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blending brush works well with the pure pressed mineral foundation.

It’s ok, but not necessary
I got this brush since it was recommended for use with Dream Tint, my favorite “foundation” ever. I had a similar style brush from another brand (cheap), but it always made my face itch. This one is very soft and not itchy, but I found that I still prefer my fingers for applying Dream Tint. Previous reviewers mentioned that this brush sheds a lot of bristles. I noticed this some, but the jury’s still out since I haven’t washed or used it very much yet. I don’t fully regret my purchase (at least it was on sale), but I suppose time will tell on the bristle shedding. It seemed worse when using a wet product (dream tint) than a dry one (blush). Overall I don’t think this brush is a necessity at all. I get much more use out of the chisel blending brush for blending, and the dome brush for blush/contour.

I thought I could use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought I could use another brush intended for powder, but decided what the heck, I'll try the recommended brush. Turns out I love this soft brush for blending my makeup.
