Embodying the principle of universal design, inclusive brand BILLY Footwear was founded in Seattle to help people with mobility impairments put on their own shoes. Each pair incorporates zippers that go along the side of the shoes and around the toe, allowing the upper of each shoe to open and fold over completely so the wearer can place their foot onto the shoe footbed unobstructed.

My fashion file loves them!
These are awesome. On line doesn’t do them justice. Leopard with a gold sheen, and so cute on my 7 year old who is as big as 9 to 10 year old. She loves them. Great purchase!

zipper broke
Loved these until the zipper broke <6 months of use. She only wore them a few days per week.

Good looking and comfortable
I picked these up for my son, who is on the spectrum. He can get them on and off easily. He likes that they look like tie shoes and his feet stay dry in the rain (not in puddles of course). He has wide feet and these still fit. The materials are good quality.

Great shoes for people with disabilities
It is very difficult to get shoes for my daughter. She does not walk and on a wheelchair but will still need good fitting shoes and easy to put on. I took her to Alderwood children’s dept and Dominic L helped me. He saw how difficult it was to fit her as she curls her toes when you put on shoes so he found the very shoes that I’ve been looking for for 40 years! He found me Billy shoes that zips around the front. Fits perfectly and my daughter loves it. I’ve been taking her to the other stores but only Dominic saw the need and found the great shoes for her. Thank you Dominic L. Next time I have to order another one, I’ll look for you. You are very kind.

Fantastic Adaptive BILLY shoes
I took my son to Nordstrom's to try on their unique BILLY shoes. He wears plastic foot braces and needs very particular shoes to fit on top of those. BILLY shoes unzip completely, so it's simple to put his foot right in the shoe with his AFO's on. We had a very pleasant experience with the staff as they fitted my son's foot and helped us find the right size. The shoes came in the mail only 4 days after ordering them in the store, and my son loves them. These are his first pair of shoes that he can really use; he can't walk unassisted, so having these fully supportive, adaptable shoes available for kids like my son is a huge blessing!

LOVE THEM
Best shoes I have brought for my daughter. She uses sure steps and we didn’t like the sure steps Sneakers we brought for her because they were so hard to get put on and they were hard. These were a lifesaver. She’s a size 9 and brought a 10 in these because of the brace and fit perfectly fine

I really like this shoes, they are perfect for my daughter who uses AFOs. It was always a problem to find adapted shoes and now I finally found them but I would like you to sell them in the store but for now I’m glad you sale it online. Thank you....
