I want to love this vest so much...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to love this vest so much. The actual vest material is amazing, its thin but warm enough to hold up to early Vermont winters. My biggest issue with this is the quality of the zipper, the zipper that you use EVERY time put the vest on and take it off. The main zipper and the pocket zippers are so THIN and flimsy that you feel like they will break with every zip. I am so bummed out with the quality of the zipper AND that the North Face logo is an iron on and not a sewed logo. I will wear that logo off between hikes and washes in less than a few months. BUT the zipper, I mean I have a North Face vest from last year and that zipper is rugged, you couldn't break it if you tried. I returned THREE of these ThermoBall vests zippers were either crimped, bent, or didn't feed right. Totally bummed because the vest itself is fantastic.
