Packable EcoPlume Coat

This coat is very flattering, with a fitted waist and slightly longer back. I got the navy and it’s super cute. I tried the medium and the large and kept the large so I would have plenty of room for bulkier sweaters. The sleeves are a little long, but otherwise is a good fit. I’m usually a medium, 5’3”, 135.

Wore this last night at Disneyland. Flattering and modest fit thanks to the contoured seams and lower hem in the back. The bright rose gold hardware makes it eye-catchingly stylish. I'm extremely grateful that Nordstrom carries outerwear in Petite lengths! It's become increasingly difficult to find coats that fit me well without needing ridiculously expensive alterations. This coat performed very well. I was never too hot or too cold, and the temperature was around 60 degrees. I feel like this coat would work best when facing temperatures between 45 degrees and 65 degrees.

I bought this in the seafoam color and it is so pretty! The material is very soft, and it is extremely warm- so much so that I had to keep the heat off in my car while wearing it out driving during a Colorado winter day! I bought it in a medium (typically the size I go for in outerwear) and it is a pretty slim fit- not too tight, but definitely not room to wear anything bulky underneath. But that’s what I like about this jacket, it is clearly cut to be very flattering and stylish, and slimmer fit, and it is warm enough that you won’t need the extra layers underneath anyway.

I couldn't be more pleased with this coat. Living in Northern CA I do not need a thick coat but something to keep me warm in this version of winter. This one is not bulky at all. The knit area under the arms is forgiving and makes the coat feel so cozy as well as a custom fit. I love the knit collar to keep my neck warm. I love the brushed fleece pockets that are fleece on the front of pockets so it's not so difficult to get things out and don't get too warm. Elastic on the inside of the cuffs keep wind out. Perfect sleeve length for me (at 5'2") and the coat hits just below my bum. It is just a tad longer in the back so sitting on it doesn't create an area where my bottom is only partially covered. It's fully covered. There is a hidden hood in the collar behind the knit collar. I love the rose gold details. I wore it Christmas morning on a brisk, windy day and was toasty warm and not too warm. I wasn't sure what the filling was having read two different things about it, one being a sustainable sourced feather fill and another being duck-free. It is definitely a polyester-type fill and not down. So pleased with the jacket and a nice alternative to all the black coats. The color is exactly as pictured and I love it.
